Research Progress on Serum Biomarkers of Chronic Heart Failure
Most cardiovascular diseases may develop into chronic heart failure(CHF)at terminal stage, with main clinical manifestations of persistent dyspnea, fatigue, fluid retention, etc.Diagnosis of CHF is mainly based on medical history, clinical manifestations, imaging, and serological indicators.Among them, serological indicators have great significance in screening and diagnosis of CHF,can help evaluate severity of the disease during treatment process, and guide clinical medication.Sensitivity of traditional CHF serological markers including B-type natriuretic peptide or N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptidogen need to be improved for multiple influencing factors.Currently, there is an urgent need to search for new serological indicators with higher specificity and sensitivity to help diagnosis and treatment in clinical practice. The article intends to summarize and prospect new potential CHF serological biomarkers in recent years.
