Effect Comparison of Corneal Reshaping Lenses and Multi-point Myopic Defocus Lenses for Preventing Myopia of Adolescents
Objective To compare application effect of corneal reshaping lenses and multi-point defocus lenses for preventing myopia of adolescents.Methods The paper chose 150 adolescents and children with myopia admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to June 2023,and divided them into two groups randomly with equal amount computer randomization,control group(n=75)and study group(n=75).Control group was treated with defocused lenses for multi-point myopia(in day time),while study group with corneal reshaping lenses(in night time).After follow-up of 18 months,refractive index,axial length,and regulatory function indicators were observed and compared between two groups before and after wearing glasses.The study was conducted from July 2021 to June 2023.Results Study group had lower refractive index and axial length after wearing glasses than control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After wearing glasses,adjustment function indexes(adjustment amplitude/sensitivity/positive and negative relative adjustment)between two groups had little difference,comparison was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion During myopia prevention and control of adolescents,multi-point defocus lenses and corneal reshaping lenses can improve binocular adjustment function of patients with myopia,and control increase of myopia degree effectively.But corneal reshaping lenses is more optimal for myopia prevention and control.
