Intervention Effect Analysis of Low Glycemic Index Diet on Nutritional Treatment of Pregnancy Diabetes
Objective To analyze intervention effect of low glycemic index diet on nutritional treatment of diabetes pregnancy. Methods A total of 86 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus in the obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Shandan County Maternal and Child Health Hospital,Zhangye City,Gansu Province from November 2021 to November 2022 were randomly selected and divided into two groups:observation group(43 cases, low glycemic index dietary nutrition treatment)and control group(43 cases, conventional nutrition treatment).Blood glucose(FPG,2h PBG,HbAlc)control, insulin resistance index, energy intake, incidence of adverse events and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention,FPG,2h PBG,HbAlc and insulin resistance index in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The fat intake of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The carbohydrate intake of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There were no differences in protein and total energy intake between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse events(intrauterine distress, macronesia, postpartum hemorrhage, hypoglycemia and pregnancy-induced hypertension)in observation group was 4.66%lower than that in control group 23.26%(P<0.05.The satisfaction of observation group was 97.67%higher than that of control group 83.72%(P<0.05).Conclusion:Low glycemic index diet can control the blood glucose level of gestational diabetes mellitus patients, reduce insulin resistance index, carbohydrate intake, increase fat intake, reduce the incidence of adverse events, improve patient satisfaction, and can be applied.
