Clinical Effect of Self Etching Adhesive Combined with Composite Resin for Repair of Deciduous Teeth Caries
Objective To explore clinical effect of self etching adhesive combined with composite resin for repair of deciduous teeth caries. Methods The paper chose 320 children with primary dental caries treated in stomatology department of our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly.Observation group was treated with self etching adhesive combined with composite resin repair, while control group with total etching adhesive combined with composite resin repair.Repair effect scores, treatment indicators, treatment success rates, and complications between two groups were compared. Results Scores of restoration fixation, marginal fit,and pulp vitality in observation group after 6 and 12 months of treatment were higher than control group(P<0.05).Operation time of observation group was shorter than control group, pulp sensitivity scores were lower than control group one week after treatment(P<0.05).Success rate of treatment in observation group after 3 months,6 months, and 12 months was higher than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of complications including oral infection, periodontitis, loosening of restorations, and periodontal bleeding in observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Self etching adhesive combined with composite resin can achieve significant clinical effect in repairing deciduous teeth caries, with short operation time, low incidence of complications, good repair effect, and effective protection of teeth and pulp, which has positive clinical significance.
