Curative Effect Analysis of Phacoemulsification Combined with Intraocular Lens Implantation for Cataracts
Objective To analyze clinical treatment effect and safety of phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation for cataract patients.Methods The paper chose 42 cataract patients met research requirements treated with phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation treatment from July 2022 to June 2023 for comparative clinical study.Visual recovery effect,visual quality scores,corneal astigmatism,and axial length changes were compared before and after treatment,and incidence of surgical complications was analyzed.Results(1)Postoperative visual acuity of patients was significantly better than before surgery.1 week after surgery,postoperative visual acuity evaluation results were higher than before sugery,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Visual acuity assessment results of surgical eye 1 month after surgery were significantly higher than before and 1 week after surgery,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)During postoperative rehabilitation period,visual quality of patients gradually recovered due to cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.1 month after surgery,quality scores of nighttime vision,watching TV,reading and writing,and fine operation were higher than before surgery,with statistical significance(P<0.05).(3)Postoperative corneal astigmatism and axial length showed a decreasing trend after surgery,and corneal astigmatism 1 month after surgery was lower than before,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in axial length between preoperative and postoperative months,with P>0.05.(4)Incidence of postoperative surgical complications was 9.52%,including 2 cases of high intraocular pressure,1 case of corneal edema,and 1 case of anterior chamber reaction.After symptomatic treatment,condition of all cases improved or healed.Conclusion Combination of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation can achieve definite clinical effect in treatment of cataracts.Postoperative visual acuity and visual quality of patients have definite improvement effect,and can improve corneal astigmatism,with definite clinical safety.
