Effect Study of Low Position Small Incision and Traditional Thyroid Surgery in Treatment of Benign Thyroid Nodules
Objective To explore effect of low incision and traditional thyroid surgery in treatment of benign thyroid nodules. Methods The paper chose 98 patients with benign thyroid nodules treated in thyroid surgery department of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly.Control group was treated with traditional thyroid surgery, while observation group with low incision surgery.Surgical indicators, complications, serum inflammatory factors, and thyroid hormones were compared between two groups. Results Observation group had shorter surgical time, incision length, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative drainage volume, and hospital stay than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of complications in observation group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).Levels of CRP,IL-6,TNF-α at 3 days post surgery in observation groupwere lower than control group(P<0.05).Levels of FT3,FT4,TT3,and TT4 in observation group were comparable to control group 7 days after surgery(P>0.05).Conclusion Low position small incision surgery is more effective for benign thyroid nodules, with less trauma, faster postoperative recovery, fewer complications, milder inflammation, and less effect on thyroid secretion function.
