Correlation Study Between Social Support,Incidence of Complications and Life Quality of Postoperative Patients with Cerebral Hemorrhage
Objective To explore status of social support, incidence of complications and life quality of postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage, and analyze relationship between them. Methods The paper chose 88 postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage admitted to ICU of our hospital from February 2018 to February 2023 as research subjects, and carried on survey of enrolled patients/family members with general information questionnaire, social support assessment scale, incidence of complications, and World Health Organization life quality assessment questionnaire, and analyzed correlation between social support, incidence of complications and life quality with Pearson correlation. Results Among the 88 patients, there were 71 cases of basal ganglia hemorrhage,15 cases of thalamic hemorrhage, and 2 cases of cerebellar hemorrhage breaking into the ventricles.Survey results showed social support scores were(32.42±6.33)points;43 cases with cerebral hemorrhage had various degrees of complications during hospitalization after surgery, with a complication rate of 48.86%.Postoperative life quality scores of patients with cerebral hemorrhage were(50.36±9.23)points.There was significant correlation between the social support scores and incidence of complications and life quality scores of patients with cerebral hemorrhage, with correlation coefficients of r=0.411 and r=-0.386 respectively. Conclusion Social support of postoperative patients with cerebral hemorrhage is at a moderate level, with high incidence of complications,it is necessary for medical staff to carry on active intervention.Life quality of patients is at a medium to low level.Based on the results of the study, clinical nurses can improve social support level of patients with relationships among the three and various means, including providing disease-related information to family members, reducing uncertainty, which is beneficial for improving life quality and promoting recovery of patients.
