Effect of Graded Management Nursing Combined with Mindfulness Decompression Intervention on Vomiting and Life Quality of Patients with Breast Cancer Caused By Chemotherapy
Objective This study aims to explore the effects of tiered management nursing combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction intervention on chemotherapy-induced vomiting and quality of life in breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 100 breast cancer patients treated at Yixing City People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 were selected as subjects for this study. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method. The control group received standard nursing care, while the observation group was treated with tiered management nursing combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction intervention. The incidence of adverse reactions, fatigue levels[using the Piper Fatigue Scale-Revised(PFS-R)],and quality of life[measured with the EORTC QLQ-C30]were compared between the two groups. Results Post-intervention,the incidence of nausea and vomiting in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, both groups showed significant improvements in fatigue levels and EORTC QLQ-C30 scores compared to before the intervention, with the observation group scoring better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Tiered management nursing combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction intervention can effectively improve and alleviate chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in breast cancer patients, while also enhancing their quality of life, demonstrating significant clinical application value.
