Visualization Analysis on Status Quo and Trend of Self-Management of Type 2 Diabetes Patients in China
Objective To analyze status quo and trend of self-management of type 2 diabetes patients in China.Methods The paper retrieved and analyzed literature related to self-management of type 2 diabetes patients in China from January 2018 to December 2022 in VIP,Wanfang database and HowNet,and chose 1680 high-quality literature.Results 1680 high-quality literature were chosen after excluding inability to obtain full texts,duplicate publications,and conference proceedings.After analyzing the first author of the literature,it was found that Peking University had a literature volume of 25 articles,ranking first,followed by Hebei Union University with 22 articles,ranking second,and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention with a literature volume of 21.The literature showed a continuous upward trend from 2018 to 2022,with a slight decrease in 2019.However,overall trend was still on the rise,but the number of literature supported by provincial-level funds was relatively low.Top three published literatures included diabetes New World,Friends of diabetes,and Nursing Research from January 2018 to December 2022.Nursing journals accounted for a relatively high proportion,1/3 of which were core journals,with less core journals in the field of diabetes self-management.Diabetes special issues focused on Friends of Diabetes and the New World of Diabetes.Results show China is constantly strengthening self-management of diabetes patients,it is still at the primary stage,and there is still a lack of core journals of diabetes self-management.The high-frequency key words are elderly,type 2 diabetes and diabetes by sorting out key words,and research focus is on self-management.Conclusion Self-management ability of domestic type 2 diabetes patients is relatively poor.It is necessary to learn more from self-management experience of foreign diabetes patients,improve professional quality of medical staffconstantly,strengthen health education,and improve self-management status of domestic type 2 diabetes patientsactively.
