Conservative and Surgical Treatment Effect of Acute Simple Appendicitis
Objective To explore difference in clinical outcomes of conservative treatment and surgical treatment for patients with acute simple appendicitis. Methods The paper chose 60 patients diagnosed with acute simple appendicitis met inclusion criteria in emergency department of Changzhou City Cancer Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,and divided them into control group(30 cases)and observation group(30 cases)randomly, treated with different treatment methods.Control group was treated with conservative treatment, namely drug therapy, while observation group with surgical treatment. Results After two treatment methods, total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than control group, with P<0.05.After surgical treatment, recovery of observation group was significantly better than control group, difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Incidence of complications in observation group was lower than control group, with p-value of less than 0.05.Conclusion Surgical treatment can achieve ideal clinical outcomes for patients with acute simple appendicitis, which is significantly better than conservative treatment, with better curative effect and complications. Therefore, surgical treatment is recommended as the first choice for patients with acute simple appendicitis to ensure better prognosis.
