Application of Bite Induction and Muscle Function Training in Early Correction of Children with Malocclusion
Objective To explore value of bite induction combined with muscle function training in early correction of children with malocclusion. Methods The paper chose 50 children with malocclusion with early orthodontic treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 as study subjects, treated with bite induction combined with muscle function training.Changes in occlusal function and related indicators were observed before and after correction. Results After correction, occlusal function level was higher than before correction, difference was statistically significant between groups,(P<0.05).After correction, level of anterior tooth occlusion, anterior tooth coverage, upper arch crowding, and lower arch crowding of affected child improved, lower than before correction significantly, difference was statistically significant between groups,(P<0.05).Level of upper and lower arch width of affected child was higher after treatment, difference was statistically significant between groups,(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of occlusal induction and muscle function training can correct occlusal function of children with malocclusion significantly, improve width and crowding of upper and lower dental arches with good effect for early correction, which can be widely applied in clinical practice.
