Effect Research on Optimizing Processes in Centralized Cleaning,Disinfection,and Sterilization of Oral Instruments in Disinfection Supply Center
Objective To study practical effect of process optimization in disinfection and sterilization in hospital disinfection supply centers.Methods The paper chose 1600 oral instruments with centralized cleaning,disinfection,and sterilization at the Disinfection Supply Center of Anhui Medical University Affiliated Stomatological Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 as instrument samples,and randomly divided them into two groups,control group(n=800),treatd with routine process management;study group(n=800),with optimization process management.Work efficiency,equipment handling qualification rate,equipment wear rate,and treatment quality satisfaction degree was compared between two groups.Results Cleaning,disinfection,sterilization,and packaging time of instruments in research group wsa shorter than control group(P<0.05).The qualified rates of instrument cleaning,packaging,and disinfection and sterilization in study group were 99.00%,98.13%,and 98.38%respectively,higher than 96.38%,95.50%,and 95.38%in control group,(P<0.05).Study group showed a lower level of oral device wear rate of 1.64%than 3.88%in control group,(P<0.05).Satisfaction degree for cleaning,disinfection and sterilization,and packaging quality in study group was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Optimizing workflow of disinfection supply centers through centralized cleaning,disinfection,and sterilization can optimize work quality and efficiency,improve qualification rate of instrument cleaning,packaging,and disinfection and sterilization,reduce risks of instrument wear and tear,which is worthy of promotion and application.
