Epidemiological Analysis of Animal Induced Injury Population in Animal Induced Injury Center in Huicheng District of Huizhou City from 2020 to 2021
Objective To explore epidemiological characteristics of animal induced injury population in animal induced injury center of Huicheng District of Huizhou City,and provide favorable references for prevention and scientific management of animal induced injury.Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed 16212 cases of animal induced injury population in animal induced injury center of Huicheng District of Huizhou City from 2020 to 2021,and carred on statistics on age,gender,animal,site of injury,visit interval,treatment methods,and vaccination status of the injury population.Results 16212 cases of animal induced injuries were mainly caused by dogs and cats,ratio of male to female injuries was 0.93:1,with the highest number of injuries between ages from 19 to 40.Animal induced injuries were mainly caused by leg injuries,followed by hand injuries.Medical treatment of children was earlier than middle-aged,young,and elderly people.After animal induced injury,most people chose self treatment,mainly water treatment and disinfection.After animal induced injury,different exposed individuals were vaccinated with freeze-dried human rabies vaccine,and 87.86%of patients in third level exposure were vaccinated with immunoglobulin.Conclusion Population of animal induced injuries in Huicheng District of Huizhou City from 2020 to 2021 have a higher number of early medical visits,and self treatment of wounds lacks scientific and standardized methods.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the condition and strengthen publicity and training.
