Effect of Strengthening Yang-Qi Cupping on Restless Leg Syndrome of Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients with Uremia and PSQI Scores
Objective To explore effect of strengthening yang-qi cupping on restless leg syndrome of maintenance hemodialysis patients with uremia. Methods The paper chose 60 eligible patients with regular maintenance hemodialysis and met inclusion criteria in nephrology department of Liuzhou City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital(Liuzhou Zhuang Medical Hospital)from July 2021 to December 2023,and divided them into experimental group of 30 cases and control group of 30 cases randomly.Control group was treated with routine treatment, while experimental group with strengthening yang-qi cupping.Curative effect, clinical symptom scores,RLS scores, and PSQI scores were compared between two groups. Results Effective rate of treatment in experimental group was, higher than in control group, with significant difference between groups(P<0.05).There was no difference in clinical symptom scores between two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, clinical symptom scores in experimental group were lower than control group(P<0.05),including lower limb soreness, lower limb numbness, lower limb burning sensation, lower limb ant sensation, and lower limb itching, lower limb pain scores. After intervention,RLS scores and PSQI scores of experimental group were lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening yang-qi cupping has significant effect on restless leg syndrome of maintenance hemodialysis patients with uremia, can significantly improve clinical symptoms and sleep quality of patients, which can be applied for reference and promoted in clinical practice.
