Clinical Study on Acupuncture Combined with Medical Ozone Injection for Chest Myofascial Pain Syndrome
Objective To explore clinical effect of acupuncture combined with medical ozone injection in treatment of chest myofascial pain syndrome.Methods The paper chose 64 patients with chest myofascial pain syndrome in pain department of Shihezi University the First Affiliated Hospital from October 2021 to August 2022 as study subjects,and divided them into experimental group and control group randomly.Control group was treated with routine acupuncture treatment,and experimental group with medical ozone pain trigger point injection treatment at the most obvious pain trigger point on the basis of control group,with treatment once a week,with a treatment course of 6 times.Before and after treatment,effect of acupuncture combined with medical ozone injection in treatment of chest myofascial pain syndrome was evaluated with Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and Short Form Health Survey(SF-36),difference between two groups was compared.Results VAS scores and SF-36 scores showed significant improvement after treatment than before(P＜0.05),and those of experimental group were significantly better than control group at 1 month of treatment,the day of treatment end,and 1 month after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with medical ozone injection is effective in relieving pain and improving life quality of patients with chest myofascial pain syndrome,which is better than acupuncture only.
