Effect and Safety of Knee Arthroscopy in Treatment of Patients with Knee Joint Injuries
Objective To explore application value of knee arthroscopy for knee joint trauma. Methods The paper chose 80 patients with knee joint injuries admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 for study, and divided them into groups with random number table method.40 cases in control group were treated with traditional open surgery, while 40 cases in observation group with knee arthroscopic surgery. After intervention, curative effect, knee joint function, and perioperative indicators were observed and compared between two groups. Results Surgical approach in observation group had better curative effect than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparing preoperative Lysholm knee joint function scores between two groups, data showed similar consistency(P>0.05).After surgery, scores increased significantly in two groups, and there was statistically significant difference compared with before surgery(P<0.05).Difference in scores between two postoperative groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Observation group had shorter surgical time, bed time, hospital stay, and knee joint function recovery time than control group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Knee arthroscopic treatment for patients with knee joint injuries has significant curative effect, can improve knee joint function, and promote patients prognosis recovery.
