Objective To explore effect of fluoride coating combined with oral health education in prevention of dental caries of young children.Methods The paper chose 100 children with oral health examinations from July 2021 to July 2022 as research subjects,and divided them into reference group of 50 cases and experimental group of 50 cases.Reference group was treated with routine oral care guidance,and experimental group with fluoride coating combined with oral health education scheme.Brushing situation,incidence of dental caries,correct behavior,and satisfaction degree of family members was compared between two groups.Results Experimental group had better brushing performance,mastery of brushing knowledge,and lower incidence of dental caries than control group.Proportion of correct behaviors in duration of brushing teeth and rinsing after meals of experimental group was significantly higher than control group.Satisfaction degree of family members of experimental group was significantly higher than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion It is necessary to carry out oral health education for children and their families,increase importance of oral hygiene management,master the correct oral cleaning methods,and apply fluoride prevention measures during prevention of dental caries of children,which can reduce incidence of dental cariessignificantly.
