Effect of Fibular Osteotomy on Life Quality,Joint Function and Pain Scores of Patients with Medial Pain Caused By Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective To explore curative effect of fibular osteotomy on life quality,joint function,and pain scores of medial pain caused by knee osteoarthritis.Methods The paper chose 54 patients with medial pain caused by knee osteoarthritis in our hospital from March 2022 to June 2023,and divided them into control group(n=27)and observation group(n=27)randomly.Control group was treated with arthroscopic knee joint clearance surgery,while observation group was fibular osteotomy combined with arthroscopic knee joint clearance surgery.Life quality,joint function,and pain scores were compared between two groups.Results Observation group had significantly higher life quality scores than control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores of observation group were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).The HSS scores of observation group were significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Fibular osteotomy treatment on the basis of routine arthroscopic knee joint clearance surgery is beneficial for reducing pain,improving joint function,and enhancing life quality of patients with medial pain caused by knee osteoarthritis,which has high clinical application value.
