Effect of Ultrasound-Guided Injection of Poly(Cinnamyl Alcohol)Sclerotherapy on Cyst Volume and Incidence of Adverse Reactions of Patients with Thyroid Cysts
Objective To analyze effect of ultrasound intervention injection of poly(cinnamyl alcohol)sclerotherapy on cyst volume and incidence of adverse reactions of patients with thyroid cysts comprehensively. Methods The paper chose 70 patients with thyroid cysts in our hospital from October 2021 to October 2022,and divided them into control group and observation group with random number table method, with 35 cases in each group.Control group was treated with ultrasound intervention and injection of anhydrous ethanol for hardening treatment, while observation group with ultrasound intervention and injection of polyoxymethylene alcohol for hardening treatment.Cyst volume before and after treatment was compared between two groups, incidence of complications and adverse reactions were observed and compared between two groups simultaneously. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in cyst volume between two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, cyst volume of both groups was smaller than before treatment(P<0.05),that of observation group was significantly smaller than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of complications in observation group was 8.57%,lower than 28.57%in control group,(P<0.05).Incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was 14.29%,lower than 37.14%in control group,(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided injection of poly(cinnamyl alcohol)for sclerotherapy can achieve positive value for patients with thyroid cysts, can improve cyst condition effectively, prevent complications or adverse reactions, with positive effect on improving prognosis, which is worthy of promotion and application.
