Effect Study of Bathing Without Basin Mode in Preventing Central Venous Catheter-Related Bloodstream Infections of Patients in ICU
Objective To analyze effect of bathing without basin mode on prevention of central venous catheter-related bloodstream infections of patients in ICU.Methods The paper observed 100 patients treated with central venous catheters in ICU of Nanchang University the Second Affiliated Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023,and divided them into two groups with coin toss method:traditional group(n=50,with traditional basin bathing)and new group(n=50,with bathing without basin model).Intervention effect was compared between two groups. Results Incidence of CLABSI in two groups was analyzed in detail, feedback showed that incidence of catheter infection in the new group was lower than traditional group, there was significant difference between the data, with P<0.05.The new group had lower average skin bacterial count, lower treatment costs, shorter bathing time, data showed significant difference,with(P<0.05).Conclusion Bathing without basin mode can achieve significant effect on preventing incidence of central venous catheter-related bloodstream infections, can reduce number of skin bacterial colonies, shorten scrubbing time, and save treatment costs of patients in ICU.
