Value of CBL Teaching Method on WeChat Platform for Oral Clinical Internship Teaching
Objective To enhance effect of oral clinical internship teaching,the paper applied CBL teaching method under WeChat platform,and analyzed application value of the method.Methods The paper chose 60 students with clinical internships in stomatology department of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020.30 students in study group were treated with CBL teaching method under WeChat platform;another 30 students in control group with traditional teaching methods.Multiple abilities(clinical professional ability,surgical operation ability,doctor-patients communication ability,and critical thinking ability),scores in oral practice physician qualification exam and satisfaction degree with teaching methods were evaluated and compared between two groups before and after internship.Results There was no significant difference in negative and positive attitude scores of theoretical basic knowledge,clinical diagnostic skills,surgical operation skills,clinical comprehensive ability expert evaluation,doctor-patients communication ability summary between study group and control group before internship,(P>0.05).After internship,ability evaluation results of two groups improved,study group had better scores in multiple abilities than control group(P<0.05).During qualification examination for dental practitioners,scores of study group were higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion CBL teaching method under WeChat platform can significantly improve clinical professional ability,surgical operation ability,doctor-patients communication ability,and critical thinking ability of internship students in clinical internship teaching of dentistry,can promote students to pass the qualification exam for practicing dentists effectively,which has been highly recognized by internship students.
