Objective To analyze construction and application effect of high-value consumables management system in operating room.Methods High-value consumables management system was not implemented in operating room from June 2020 to December 2020,and implemented from January 2021 to June 2021.Effect of 286 surgeries before and after implementation was analyzed.Results After implementation of operating room high-value consumables management system,surgical high-value consumables were integrated and managed by a dedicated person in operating room high-value consumables secondary library.Frequency of mobile nurses collecting high-value consumables was lower significantly,frequency and amount of missed charges per month was lower.Above indicators showed statistical significance in comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion Construction and application of high-value consumables management system in operating room can improve work efficiency of medical staff.
