Effect of Nursing Projects on Improving Implementation Rate of Low Protein Diet of Elderly Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease
Objective To explore effect of nursing projects on improving implementation rate of low protein diet of elderly patients with chronic kidney disease. Methods The paper chose 360 elderly patients with chronic kidney disease in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 as analysis subjects, and divided them into two groups randomly:control group and observation group, with 180 cases in each group.Control group was treated with routine nursing, while observation group with routine plus nursing projects.Implementation rate and self-management ability was compared between two groups.Nutritional status was compared between two groups, including body mass index(BMI),serum prealbumin(PA),hemoglobin(Hb),and serum albumin(ALB).Results Implementation rate of low protein diet was compared between two groups, that of bservation group was 99.44%,significantly higher than 91.67%in control group,(P<0.05).Self-management ability scores in observation group were(22.16±2.52)points in health knowledge level,(21.91±2.34)points in self-concept,(22.34±2.09)points in self-care responsibility,and(21.63±2.52)points in self-care skills, significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).After nursing,BMI(21.26±2.16)kg/m2,PA(65.72±19.27)mg/L,Hb(132.83±10.17)g/L,and ALB(42.76±4.19)g/L in observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing scheme can achieve significant effect and improves implementation rate of low protein diets of elderly patients with chronic kidney disease, which is worthy of promotion and application on a large scale in clinical nursing schemes.
