Diagnostic Value of Transvaginal Or Rectal Color Doppler Ultrasound for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Objective To explore diagnostic value of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound(ECO-TV)or rectal color Doppler ultrasound(TRUS)for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods The paper chose 100 PCOS patients with examinations in our hospital from February 2021 to December 2022 as observation group, and 100 healthy individuals with physical examinations during the same period as control group for study, treated with transvaginal or rectal color Doppler ultrasound examinations, and alzed examination results and changes in hemodynamic parameters between two groups with gold standard of clinical indicators, and positive detection rate and diagnostic effect of the protocol was statistically analyzed. Results Positive rate of transvaginal or rectal color Doppler ultrasound examination was 98.88%,diagnostic sensitivity of ECO-TV or TRUS was 98.86%,specificity was 91.67%,accuracy was 98.00%,and consistency with the gold standard was 0.918.The number of follicles, ovarian volume, ovarian area, medullary area, and area ratio in observation group was higher than control group, while maximum follicle diameter was lower than control group(P<0.05).The PI and RI of observation group was lower than control group, while the PSV and EDV was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal or rectal color Doppler ultrasound can improve diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity in diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome.
