With the increasing level of hospital comprehensiveness,in order to assess the work efficiency of various clinical specialties,it is necessary to consider the transfer factor when calculating the average length of hospital stay.The average length of hospital stay is an important indicator for measuring the efficiency of hospital medical services and the quality level of work,which directly reflects the utilization of hospital resources and the overall quality level of medical services.With the continuous deepening of medical reform and the increasing demand for medical care,accurately calculating the length of stay for each patient has become the key to enhancing hospital competitiveness and optimizing the allocation of medical resources.Based on this,this article reviews the calculation methods,influencing factors,and applications of average length of stay in hospital management,aiming to provide reference for hospital management.
