Curative Effect Research of Leukotriene Antagonist Montelukast Combined with Inhaled Seretide in Treatment of Elderly Asthma
Objective To explore curative effect of leukotriene antagonist montelukast combined with inhaled seretide in treatment of elderly asthma. Methods The paper chose 80 elderly asthma patients in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2021,and divided them into control group and experimental group with random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Control group was treated with nebulized inhalation of salbutamol, while experimental group with leukotriene antagonist montelukast based on control group.Curative effect was compared between two groups. Results Clinical treatment effect of experimental group was 97.50%,significantly higher than 82.50%in control group. After 3 months of treatment, the FVC,FEV1,and FEV1/FVC pulmonary function indicators of two groups were higher than before treatment, those of experimental group were higher than control group.Scores of cough, loss of appetite, wheezing, and dyspnea symptoms in two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, those of experimental group were lower(P<0.05).Incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group was slightly higher, difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Combination of leukotriene antagonist montelukast and inhaled seretide can significantly improve symptoms, optimize pulmonary function, and have high safety for elderly asthma patients, which is worth promoting.
