Effect Comparison of High-Frequency Electrocoagulation and Cold Loop Resection Under Colonoscopy for Small Polyps of Colon
Objective To explore improvement value of high-frequency electrocoagulation and cold loop resection under colonoscopy in treatment of small polyps of of colon patients in a short and long term. Methods The paper chose 90 colon polyps patients with surgical treatment in hospitals from April 2023 to April 2024 for study, and divided them into control group and observation group with random envelope method, with 45 cases in each group.Control group was treated with high-frequency electrocoagulation and electrocautery, while observation group with cold loop resection.Short-term Effect, clinical indicators, and long-term effect were compared. Results Complete polypectomy rate of observation group was higher than control group, polypectomy time of observation group was lower than control group, recurrence rate within 1 year after surgery of observation group was lower than control group, and life quality of observation group was higher than control group,P<0.05.There was no difference in postoperative complication rate and length of stay between two groups, with P>0.05.Conclusion Cold loop resection under colonoscopy can achieve shorter polypectomy time, higher complete resection rate, without increasing incidence of complications, with lowerrisk of postoperative recurrence, better overall curative effect, which is conducive to improving prognosis of patients and suitable for promotion, reference and application.
