Curative Effect Observation of Femtosecond Laser Ablation of Corneal Astigmatism Combined with Trifocal Intraocular Lens Implantation
Objective To explore short-term clinical effect of femtosecond laser ablation of corneal astigmatism combined with trifocal intraocular lens implantation. Methods The paper collected 35 eyes of 29 patients with cataracts with femtosecond laser assisted phacoemulsification in our hospital from September 2019 to March 2021 for prospective study, treated with femtosecond laser corneal limbal release incision and implantation of Zeiss multifocal intraocular lens during surgery.Naked eyes condition and best corrected far, middle, and near visual acuity and astigmatism changes were observed for 3 months after surgery, incidence of surgical complications, postoperative detachment rate and satisfaction degree was recorded. Results After 3 months of surgery, condition of both naked eyes and best corrected far vision was significantly better than after surgery, difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).All patients had good naked eye and best corrected intermediate visual acuity and near visual acuity three months after surgery. After 3 months of surgery, astigmatism was significantly lower than before surgery, difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).Astigmatism correction index<1,indicating phenomenon under correction. After 3 months of surgery, average residual astigmatism was(0.54±0.24)D,<0.75D,and the patients had high visual quality. All patients were treated smoothly during surgery,no surgical complications were found during intraoperative and postoperative follow-up processes.3 months after surgery, detachment rate of patients was 94.3%and satisfaction degree rate was 94.3%,with high detachment rate and satisfaction degree. Conclusion Femtosecond laser ablation of corneal astigmatism can be effective, broaden adaptability range of three focus intraocular lenses, improve postoperative visual quality of cataract patients greatly.
