Effect Observation of Percutaneous Hollow Screw and Steel Plate Internal Fixation for Ankle Joint Fractures and Ankle Joint Function
Objective To analyze effect and significance of percutaneous hollow screw and steel plate internal fixation treatment for ankle joint fractures. Methods The paper chose 60 patients with ankle fractures admitted to Kunshan City the Fourth People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 for analysis, divided them into control group and study group under the premise of balance,30 cases in each group, treated with different surgical methods.Control group was treated with traditional treatment with open reduction and steel plate internal fixation, while study group with percutaneous hollow screw and steel plate internal fixation treatment.Curative effect was compared between two groups in terms of clinical indicators, safety, joint function, and other aspects. Results Intraoperative blood loss and surgical time in study group was shorter than control group, postoperative walking time, hospital stay, and fracture healing time was shorter than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of postoperative complications in study group was lower than control group(P<0.05).At 3 months after surgery, study group showed advantage in Kofoed scores of ankle joint, and scores of all aspects were more statistically significant than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous hollow screw and steel plate internal fixation can achieve significant curative effect on ankle joint fractures, can improve surgical efficiency and promote postoperative recovery, reduce pain and surgical injury, and contribute to comprehensive recovery of ankle joint function and motion range of patients.
