Objective To explore clinical effect and adverse reactions of olanzapine combined with fluoxetine for patients with bipolar depression.Methods The paper chose 110 patients with bipolar depression admitted to a certain hospital from January 2020 to January 2021,and divided them into two groups according to treatment methods.55 cases in control group were treated with olanzapine,while 55 cases in observation group with olanzapine plus fluoxetine.Treatment course for both groups was 2 months.Curative effect,depression and anxiety scores,adverse reactions were compared and analyzed between two groups before and after treatment.Results Clinical effect of observation group after treatment(94.54%)was significantly better than control group(81.81%),with significant difference(P=0.038).Depression and anxiety scores of observation group were lower after 2 months than before treatment,observation group showed more significant decrease than control group(P<0.01).Total incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was 14.54%,higher than 47.45%in in control group,(P<0.001).Conclusion Fluoxetine combined with olanzapine can achieve significant curative effect in treatment of bipolar depression,can effectively alleviate emotions and reduce adverse reactions of patients,which is highly worthy of clinical promotion and application.
