Clinical Comparison Between Low Incision and Traditional Thyroid Surgery for Patients with Benign and Malignant Thyroid Nodules
Objective To compare effect of traditional thyroid surgery and low incision surgery in clinical treatment of benign and malignant thyroid nodule diseases. Methods The paper chose 60 patients with benign and malignant thyroid nodules in Shuyang Zhongxing Hospital from January 2020 to July 2023,and divided them into groups randomly.Control group(30 cases)was treated with traditional thyroid surgery treatment, and observation group(30 cases)with low position small incision surgery.Perioperative related indicators were recorded and compared between two groups separately, postoperative pain degree was evaluated between two groups at different times.Specific postoperative complications incidence was observed and compared between two groups.Satisfaction degree was investigated and compared with aesthetic degree of incision after surgery between two groups. Results Intraoperative bleeding volume of observation group was significantly lower than control group, surgery time and hospital stay was relatively shorter(P<0.05).Postoperative pain assessment scores of observation group at 2 hours,12 hours, and 24 hours were lower than control group(P<0.05).Total incidence of postoperative complications in observation group was lower than control group, overall satisfaction degree with incision aesthetics was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Low position small incision surgery is the preferred method in clinical treatment of benign and malignant thyroid nodule diseases, with smaller incision, faster postoperative recovery, fewer complications than traditional thyroid surgery, with beautiful incision and high satisfaction degree, which is worth promoting.
