Effect Analysis of Different Timing of Removing Indwelling Catheters on Spontaneous Urination of Patients with Prostate Electrocautery
Objective To analyze effect of different machines for removing indwelling catheters on spontaneous urination of patients with prostate electrocautery. Methods The paper chose 93 patients with prostate electrocautery in our hospital from August 2022 to July 2023 as analysis subjects, and divided them into three groups randomly:31 cases with urinary catheter being removed within 48 hours after surgery were included in group 1,31 cases with urinary catheter being removed within 48-72 hours after surgery in group 2,and 31 cases with urinary catheter being removed after>72 hours after surgery in group 3.Effect of removal was further analyzed. Results Success rate of spontaneous urination in group 2 and group 3 was significantly higher than group 1,with P<0.05.Group 2 had significantly better difficulty in urination than group 1 and group 3,with difference,P<0.05.Group 2 had significantly lower rates of recatheterization than group 1.Incidence of urinary tract infections of group 2 was significantly lower than group 3,P<0.05.Postoperative length of stay of roup 2 was significantly shorter than group 1 and 3,with P<0.05.Conclusion Removing urinary catheter 48~72 hours after surgery can achieve satisfactory effect for prostate electrocautery patients, can ensure good self urination effect, reduce recatheterization rate and urinary tract infection, shorten length of stay, which is recommended for promotion.
