Objective To explore effect of bundled nursing for ICU patients with artificial airway.Methods The paper chose 52 ICU patients with artificial airway admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to May 2023 as research subjects,and divided them into control group(treated with routine nursing,26 cases)and observation group(with routine plus bundled nursing,26 cases)according to random number table method.Mechanical ventilation time,length of stay,incidence of complications,and nursing satisfaction degree was compared between two groups.Results Mechanical ventilation time and length of stay was compared between two groups,that of observation group was(4.25±1.62)days,(13.15±2.39)days,shorter than(12.67±4.95)days,and(19.72±4.05)days in control group respectively,difference was significant(P<0.05).Incidence of complications in observation group was 7.69%,lower than 30.77%in control group,difference was significant(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction degree between two groups was compared,that of observation group was 96.15%,higher than 65.38%in control group,and difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Bundled nursing can shorten mechanical ventilation time,hospital stay,reduce complications,and improve nursing satisfaction degree of ICU patients with artificial airway,which is worthy of promotion and application in a large scale in clinical nursing.
