Epidemiological Characteristics Analysis of AIDS in Tinghu District of Yancheng City from 2008 to 2022
Objective To understand epidemiological characteristics of AIDS/AIDS patients in Tinghu District,Yancheng City,and provide scientific basis for formulating prevention and control strategies.Methods The paper carried out statistics of epidemic data of AIDS in Tinghu District,Yancheng City from 2008 to 2022 according to current address from AIDS prevention and control information system of China Disease Control and Prevention Information System,and analyzed epidemiological characteristics.Results 296 local HIV/AIDS cases were reported in Tinghu District from 2008 to 2022,with average annual reported incidence rate of 2.65/100 thousand,epidemic situation showed an upward trend year by year.Average age of 296 cases was 38.13,with male to female ratio of 7.97∶1,with main profession of household and unemployment,with educational level of college or above mainly.All streets and towns had reported cases,central urban street reported 2.7 times cases of surrounding towns.Main route of infection was sexual means,while main route of discovery was consultation and testing.89 cases were reported late,with late detection rate of 30.07％.Conclusion Epidemic situation of AIDS in Tinghu District is on the rise,with main transmission mode of sexual transmission.While carried out management and treatment of existing patients,it is necessary to take comprehensive prevention and control measures on health education,expanded testing,and behavioral intervention actively to prevent spread of AIDS.
