Clinical Effect of Surgical Guidance Combined with Orthodontic Traction in Treatment of Maxillary Impacted Teeth
Objective To observe clinical effect of surgical guidance combined with orthodontic traction in treatment of maxillary impacted teeth. Methods The paper chose 80 patients(91 teeth)with maxillary impacted teeth in our hospital from March 2018 to April 2019,and divided them into observation group(47 teeth,40 cases)and control group(44 teeth,40 cases)randomly.Control group was treated with routine surgical guidance treatment, and observation group with orthodontic traction treatment on the basis of control group.Treatment time(gingival rupture time, correction time),surgical success rate(first surgery success rate, second surgery rate),and incidence of complications during treatment was compared between two groups. Results Observation group had significantly lower gingival rupture time, correction time, secondary surgery rate, dental disorder, and pulp necrosis incidence than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Success rate of one surgery for affected teeth in observation group was significantly higher than control group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Surgical guidance combined with orthodontic traction can achieve good effect in treatment of maxillary impacted teeth, can improve success rate of surgery and reduce risks of complications.
