Objective To analyze effect of UBE-LIF in treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis(LSS).Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed effect of UBE-LIF and PLIF in treatment of single segment LSS in our hospital,with 28 cases in each group.Surgical indicators,VAS scores JOA scores and complications were recorded and compared between two groups.Results Intraoperative bleeding amount,postoperative drainage,and postoperative hospital stay in UBE-LIF group were lower than PLIF group,(P＜0.05).VAS scores of UBE-LIF group at 1 month and 3 months after surgery were significantly lower than PLIF group(P＜0.05).JOA scores of UBE-LIF group at 1 month,3 months,and last follow-up were significantly higher than PLIF group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of complications between two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion UBE-LIF surgery can achieve better effect than traditional PLIF surgery for single segment LSS,can reduce trauma,alleviate pains,improve functional impairment,and accelerate recovery of patients.
