Correlation Study between Advanced Placental Acute Chorioamnionitis and Premature Rupture of Membranes
Objective To explore correlation between advanced placental acute chorioamnionitis(CAM)and premature rupture of membranes(PROM).Methods The paper collected complete placentas delivered in the third trimester of pregnancy from January 2022 to December 2022 for pathological examination, and divided 50 pregnant women into control group and 105 pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes into observation group according to examination results.Placenta tissue of pregnant women was taken during delivery for pathological examination, incidence of acute CAM was observed.General data between two groups of pregnant women(age, abortion history, birth times, pregnancy hypertension, pregnancy diabetes)were compared. Results There were 6 cases(12.00%)of acute CAM in control group and 65 cases(61.90%)in observation group.Incidence of acute CAM in observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05),and difference was statistically significant.Number of abortions, acute CAM,pregnancy induced hypertension and pregnancy induced diabetes in observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).Logistic multiple regression analysis showed risk factors for maternal PROM were CAM and history of miscarriage(P<0.05).Conclusion There is correlation between advanced placental CAM and PROM,and PROM mothers have high incidence of acute CAM.Acute CAM is a risk factor for incidence of PROM.
