Objective To explore application effect of FOCUS-PDCA model in quality control management of nosocomial infections in dental clinics.Methods The paper analyzed existing issues in quality control management of nosocomial infections with FOCUS-PDCA program,and developed implementation process to link planning,implementation,and actual work organically,and detect actual effect of the model in quality control management of nosocomial infections in dental clinics.Results After application of FOCUS-PDCA,total qualified rate of environment samples in examination room,compliance rate of hand hygiene of medical staff,and accuracy rate of hand washing methods were higher than before.Average scores of nosocomial infections knowledge assessment of department physicians were higher than before,difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion FOCUS-PDCA model can effectively improve qualification rate of laboratory environmental testing,promote compliance rate of medical staff with hand hygiene and accuracy rate of hand washing,and promote prevention and control standardization of nosocomial infections in dental clinics.
