Application Exploration and Effect Analysis of Science Popularization Games Empower Health Education Model for Ophthalmic Day Surgery Patients and Caregiver Training
Objective To explore application effect of science popularization games empowering health education model for ophthalmic day surgery patients and caregiver training.Methods The paper chose daytime surgery patients and caregivers in our department from July 2022 to December 2022,33 daytime surgery patients and caregivers from July to September 2022 were included in control group,treated with routine health education,and 31 daytime surgery patients and caregivers from October to December 2022 in experimental group,treated with science popularization games empowering health education model.One month after surgery,satisfaction degree,health education awareness,and compliance was compared between two groups.Results There was statistically significant difference in satisfaction degree between experimental group and control group(P＜0.05).Experimental group had higher awareness rate of health education on hand hygiene,wearing eye mask,posture,complications,and discharge procedures than control group,and difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in health education awareness rates of eye drop height,diet,and follow-up time between two groups,(P＞0.05).Compliance of experimental group was higher than control group,difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Science popularization games empowering health education model can improve satisfaction degree,awareness and compliance with health education of patients and caregivers.
