Application Value Exploration of Multimodal Ultrasound in Differential Diagnosis of Non Mass Breast Lesions
Objective To explore application value of multimodal ultrasound in differential diagnosis of non mass breast lesions. Methods The paper chose 94 patients with non mass breast lesions in Daqing Longnan Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023,with routine ultrasound, ultrasound blood flow imaging and ultrasound elastography examinations, and analyzed application value of multimodal ultrasound(combined with the three)in differential diagnosis of non mass breast lesions with gold standard of pathological examination results. Results 41 of 94 patients with non mass breast lesions were diagnosed as breast cancer and 53 as benign breast lesions by pathological examination.Consistency kappa values of routine ultrasound, ultrasound blood flow imaging, ultrasound elastography, and multimodal ultrasound for differential diagnosis of non mass breast lesions and pathological examination were 0.411,0.617,0.742,and 0.913.Sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of multimodal ultrasound in differential diagnosis of non mass breast lesions were 95.12%(39/41),96.23%(51/53),95.74%(90/94),95.12%(39/41),and 96.23%(51/53)respectively,higher than routine ultrasound, ultrasound blood flow imaging, and ultrasound elastography only.Difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Multimodal ultrasound can achieve high application value in differential diagnosis of non mass breast lesions, with high consistency with pathological results, and can improve diagnostic accuracy.
