Relationship Exploration Between Changes in Thyroid Function and Comorbidities of Pregnant Women At Different Stages
Objective To explore changes in thyroid hormones of women at different stages of pregnancy, classify thyroid function based on thyroid hormone levels, and analyze effect of thyroid function on pregnancy complications. Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed 406 normal pregnant women registered in our hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 as research subjects, collected their clinical information and thyroid function test results, and divided them into groups according to different pregnancy periods and age, compared and analyzed thyroid function and incidence of complications of different groups. Results Free triiodothyronine(FT3)and free thyroxine(FT4)showed a decreasing trend as pregnancy progressed, while thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)showed an increasing trend, with statistical difference between the groups.Incidence of thyroid dysfunction in early pregnancy(T1)was higher than mid pregnancy(T2)and late pregnancy(T3).Incidence of comorbidities of thyroid dysfunction patients was higher in hypothyroidism group than normal and hyperthyroidism groups,Pregnant women at T3 stage and over 30 were likely to develop comorbidities. Conclusion Thyroid dysfunction of pregnant women may cause incidence of adverse complications, and hypothyroidism is one of factors to cause adverse pregnancy.Clinical intervention should be timely taken based on thyroid function to improve pregnancy quality.
