Effect of Pre Prescription Checks and Post Prescription Comments on Quality of Pharmaceutical Services
Objective To study effect of pre prescription checks and post prescription comments on quality of pharmaceutical services.Methods The paper chose outpatient and emergency prescriptions in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 as research subjects.Before implementation(from January 2020 to December 2020)and after implementation(from January 2021 to December 2021),conditions of irregular and unqualified prescriptions,inappropriate and excessive prescriptions,use of antibiotics,and satisfaction degree with medical treatment were observed.Results After implementation,the irregular and unsuitable abnormal prescriptions were improved,and there was no difference between before and after implementation(P＞0.05).The comparison between post-implementation and pre-implementation showed that the average drug varieties of the latter group were higher,the amount of antibiotics,the utilization rate of injections and the utilization rate of antibiotics were higher,and the satisfaction of various medical services after implementation was higher than that before implementation,with significant differences among groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Pre prescription checks and post prescription comments can reduce clinical irregular and inappropriate prescriptions,antibacterial agent usage rates,improve total medical satisfaction degree and pharmaceutical service quality of patients,which is worthy of clinical application.
