Effect of Interactive Health Education on Self Efficiency and Life Quality of Elderly Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To explore effect of interactive health education on self efficiency and life quality of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods The paper chose 76 elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in our hospital from July 2021 to July 2023,and divided them into control group and study group with dual color sphere method,with 38 cases in each group.Control group was treated with basic education intervention,while study group with interactive health education intervention.Level of health knowledge mastery,self efficiency,life quality,medication cooperation rate,and nursing satisfaction degree were compared between two groups.Results Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in level of health knowledge mastery between two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,disease knowledge scores(92.45±4.17),medication knowledge scores(92.51±4.28),and nursing knowledge scores(92.49±4.23)in study group were higher than control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in self efficiency and life quality between two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,self efficiency scores(33.21±3.69)and life quality scores(44.17±5.12)of study group were higher than control group,(P<0.05).Medication cooperation rate in study group was 94.74%,higher than 73.68%in control group,(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction degree in study group was 97.37%,higher than 78.95%in control group,(P<0.05).Conclusion Interactive health education can expand health knowledge,enhance self efficiency,improve life quality,increase medication cooperation rate and nursing satisfaction degree of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
