Effect of Continuous Rehabilitation Nursing on Rehabilitation Exercise Compliance and Daily Living Ability of Elderly Fracture Patients After Discharge
Objective To explore effect of continuous rehabilitation nursing on compliance of rehabilitation exercise and daily living ability of elderly fracture patients after discharge. Methods The paper chose 62 elderly fracture patients in our hospital from January 2021 to October 2022,and divided them into control group and experimental group randomly, with 31 cases per group.Control group was treated with traditional nursing, while experimental group with continuous rehabilitation nursing.Levels of health cognition, daily living ability,self-care ability, rehabilitation exercise compliance, and nursing satisfaction degree were compared between two groups. Results Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in health cognition levels between two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, experimental group had higher scores in terms of fracture disease cognition, home care cognition, and rehabilitation exercise cognition than control group(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in daily living ability and self-care ability between two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, daily living ability and self-care ability of experimental group were higher than control group(P<0.05).Rehabilitation exercise compliance of experimental group was 93.55%,higher than 67.74%in control group(P<0.05),and nursing satisfaction degree of experimental group patients 96.77%,higher than 74.19%in control group,(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous rehabilitation nursing can expand health awareness, increase daily living abilities, enhance compliance with rehabilitation exercises, facilitate recovery of elderly fracture patients, with high level of nursing satisfaction degree.
