Effect of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Training on Quality of Life and Pulmonary Function in Respiratory Critically Ill Patients
Objective To investigate the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation training on quality of life and pulmonary function in respiratory critically ill patients. Methods A total of 66 respiratory critically ill patients who were admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected and divided into reference and test groups by following the random sampling method,33 patients/group,the reference group implemented traditional nursing intervention, and the test group combined pulmonary rehabilitation training intervention on the basis of the reference group.Quality of life, pulmonary function status, nursing efficacy, and complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in QOL between the two groups(P>0.05;After the intervention, the quality of life of patients in the test group was higher than that of the reference group(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the pulmonary function status between the two groups(P>0.05);After the intervention, the FEV1,FEV1/FVC,and PEF of the test group patients were higher than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of 96.97%in the test group was higher than that of 75.76%in the reference group(P<0.05),and the complication rate of 3.03%in the test group was lower than that of 24.24%in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Pulmonary rehabilitation training given to respiratory critically ill patients can effectively maintain a better quality of life, improve lung function, improve nursing efficacy, and have a high safety profile.
