Comparative Study on Curative Effect of Minimally Invasive Locking Steel Plate Treatment for Intra-Articular Calcaneal Fractures Through Tarsal Sinus Approach
Objective To explore clinical effect of minimally invasive locking plate treatment for intra-articular calcaneal fractures through tarsal sinus approach. Methods The paper chose 68 patients with intra-articular calcaneal fractures in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into control group(n=33,treated with traditional anatomical locking steel plates)and observation group(n=35,treated with minimally invasive locking steel plates through the tarsal sinus approach)based on difference in treatment plans.Surgical and postoperative recovery indicators were compared between two groups, preoperative imaging examination of calcaneus of patients was evaluated, incidence of complications was compared. Results Operation time, bleeding volume, incision length, postoperative drainage volume, fracture healing time, and medical cost in observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Bohler angle,GIssane angle, width, and height between observation group and control group at one week after surgery and the last follow-up(P>0.05).Incidence of complications in observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive locking steel plate treatment through tarsal sinus approach has advantages of minimal injury, fast postoperative recovery, low medical costs, good calcaneal structure recovery, and low risk of complications for patients with intra-articular calcaneal fractures.
