Analysis of Maternal and Fetal Pregnancy Outcomes of Preeclampsia Combined with Fetal Growth Restriction
Objective To explore pregnancy outcomes of preeclampsia combined with fetal growth restriction. Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed 100 patients with preeclampsia in obstetrics and gynecology department of Guilin City Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2020 to June 2023,and divided them into groups based on having fetal growth restriction or not. Those without fetal growth restriction were included in single group, totaling 50 cases,50 cases with fetal growth restriction were included in combined group. Both groups were treated with expectant therapy after diagnosis of preeclampsia, fetal growth, maternal complication rates, and adverse perinatal outcomes were recorded for two groups. Results There was no significant difference in fetal growth between single group and combined group(P>0.05).Incidence of complications in single group was lower than combined group(P<0.05),and incidence of adverse perinatal outcomes in single group was lower than combined group(P<0.05).Conclusion Preeclampsia combined with fetal growth restriction has significant risk, can increase incidence of maternal complications and adverse perinatal outcomes. After diagnosis, expectant treatment and scheduled examinations should be carried out as soon as possible to prolong pregnancy time and improve maternal and infant outcomes.
