Clinical Effect Analysis of Warm and Humidified Nasal High Flow Oxygen Therapy in Treatment of Severe Pneumonia of Children
Objective To observe clinical effect of warm and humidified nasal high flow oxygen therapy for severe pneumonia of children.Methods The paper chose 110 children with severe pneumonia in our pediatric intensive care unit from April 2020 to June 2023,and divided them into control group(treated with nasal cannula oxygen inhalation)and observation group(with warm humidified nasal high flow oxygen therapy)according to different treatment methods,with 55 cases in each group.Curative effect between two groups was compared.Results Respiratory rate and heart rate of observation group was lower than control group.HCO3 and PaO2 levels were higher than control group,while PaCO2 was lower than control group.Days of relief from breathing difficulties and length of stay were lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Warm humidified nasal high flow oxygen therapy can further improve curative effect,increase blood oxygen saturation,shorten recovery of breathing difficulties of children with severe pneumonia,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
