Comparative Analysis of Anxiety and Depression of Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Peptic Ulcer
Objective To compare and analyze characteristics of anxiety and depression of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and peptic ulcer.Methods The paper chose Inflammatory bowel disease patients,peptic ulcer patients,and volunteers who were in gastroenterology outpatient department of our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 as research subjects,and divided them into inflammatory bowel disease group(n=125),peptic ulcer group(n=134),and control group(n=141).Prevalence of anxiety and depression and anxiety and depression scores were compared among three groups.Results Incidence of anxiety and depression and HAM-A and HAM-D scores in peptic ulcer group were higher than control group.Incidence of anxiety and depression and HAM-A and HAM-D scores in inflammatory bowel disease group were higher,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Incidence of depression and HAM-A and HAM-D scores in inflammatory bowel disease group were higher than peptic ulcers group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Prevalence and scores of anxiety and depression of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and peptic ulcer are higher than normal population,prevalence and scores of anxiety and depression of patients with inflammatory bowel disease are higher than patients with peptic ulcer,which is worthy of clinical attention.
