Risk Factors Analysis Related to Carotid Plaque of Acute Cerebral Infarction Patients with Carotid Atherosclerosis
Objective To explore risk factors of carotid atherosclerotic plaque of patients with acute cerebral infarction, and provide basis for clinical prediction, diagnosis and treatment of carotid atherosclerotic plaque disease. Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed 591 acute cerebral infarction patients with inpatient treatment at Tianjin Huanhu Hospital from November 2021 to June 2023 for investigation and study, collected and organized clinical and basic data of study subjects, and divided them into groups based on results of carotid artery ultrasound, whether there was carotid artery plaques merging. There were 405 cases in plaque group and 186 cases in non plaque group. There was no statistically significant difference in severity of cerebral infarction between two groups(P>0.05).Statistical analysis was carried out for basic data with univariate linear regression analysis method, including age, gender, smoking history, clinical data including blood pressure, heart rate, uric acid, and fasting blood glucose levels of two groups,to explore triggering factors of carotid artery plaques of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Results Triggering factors of carotid artery plaques of patients with acute cerebral infarction included fasting blood glucose levels, uric acid levels, smoking history, and etc.Degree of danger was seqenced in descending order, the results were:uric acid(OR=1.007,P=0.006),age(OR=1.1037,P<0.0001),fasting blood glucose level(OR=1.5361,P=0.0267),smoking history(OR=3.1131,P=0.0028).Conclusion Fasting blood glucose level, age, uric acid value and smoking history are independent risk factors of acute cerebral infarction with carotid atherosclerosis.During clinical treatment,it is necessary to control blood glucose and uric acid levels based on blood lipid level control to control risk of concurrent carotid artery plaques.
